Our new colleague Atif S. Saleem
Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming Atif Salman Saleem to our team.
Atif har lang arbeidserfaring med tekniske systemer på rullende materiell, alle stadier i jernbaneprosjekter fra kravspesifikasjon til leverandøroppfølging og sluttkontroll, bruker- og tekniskdokumentasjon samt regelverk for godkjenning av jernbane kjøretøy.
Atif er systemekspert på togelektronikk, vedlikehold og dokumentasjon. Han har kompetanse på flere tekniske fagområder innen jernbane, med hovedfokus på ERTMS ombordsutstyr, elektrosystemer, vedlikeholdsutvikling, RAM, nasjonale og europeiske forskrifter, human factors og dokumentasjon.
Han har 6 års erfaring fra ERTMS nasjonalt prosjekt med implementering av nytt ombordsutstyr på tog. I tillegg har han god kontroll på prosesser for jernbane tillatelser og tekniske krav til rullende materiell.
Etter mange år i jernbanesektoren, har han en bred jernbaneteknisk forståelse, i tillegg til personlige egenskaper som systematisk, analytisk, ryddig, engasjert, kvalitetsbevisst, problemløser og med øye for forbedring.

Atif has extensive work experience with technical systems on rolling stock, covering all stages of railway projects from requirements specification to following up suppliers and performing final inspection; user and technical documentation as well as regulations for the approval of railway vehicles.
Atif is a systems expert in electronics, maintenance, and documentation. He has expertise in various technical disciplines within railways, with primary focus on ERTMS onboard equipment, electrical systems, maintenance optimization, rolling stock regulations both national and European, human factors and documentation.
He has 6 years of experience from the national ERTMS project, involving the implementation of new onboard equipment on trains. Additionally, he has a good understanding of processes related to railway approvals and technical requirements for rolling stock.
After many years in the railway sector, he possesses a broad understanding of railway technology, along with personal qualities such as being systematic, analytical, organized, engaged, quality-conscious, a problem solver with an eye for improvement.
