Safety manager - Bybanen in Bergen
Bybanen Utbygging is well underway with construction phase 4, which is scheduled to open at the turn of the year 2022/2023. The new line will run from Bergen city centre to Fyllingsdalen.
RailAdvice, i samarbeid med Atkins Norge, har ansvar for Bybanen Utbygging sitt totale sikkerhetsarbeid for all infrastruktur, med særlig fokus på håndtering av grensesnitt mellom entrepriser og opp mot vognmateriell.
Vår dyktige seniorkonsulent Fredrik Schumann utfører oppdraget og har arbeidet med sikkerhet / RAMS i flere roller hos Bybanen siden 2002 – i lange perioder som sikkerhetsansvarlig / sikkerhetssjef. Med Fredrik sin lange fartstid i disse RAMS-relaterte rollene, sikrer dette kontinuitet i dokumentasjon fra tidligere løsninger i byggetrinn og etablerte prosesser. I tillegg til oppfølging, sammenstilling og utarbeidelse av sikkerhetsdokumentasjon for godkjenning av byggetrinn 4, utfører han også arbeid i forbindelse med regulering og prosjektering av byggetrinn 5.
Sentrale arbeidsoppgaver er:
- Overordnet sikkerhetsledelse
- Ansvar for godkjenning av RAMS-arbeid iht. gjeldende standarder
- Oppfølging og kontroll av prosesser og dokumentasjon hos prosjekterende og underleverandører, samt totalentreprisene
- Detaljert oppfølging av sikkerhetsarbeidet på entreprise for banesignal, herunder nødvendig koordinering og oppfølging mot assessor
- Ivaretakelse og koordinering av sikkerhetsrelaterte grensesnitt
- Koordinering av sikkerhetsrelevante forhold mot driftsselskapene, herunder oppfølging av regelverk og spesifikasjoner
- Vedlikehold av Bybanen Utbygging sitt sikkerhetsstyringssystem
- Koordinering og kommunikasjon mot Statens jernbanetilsyn (Bybanen AS er formell søker, men alt arbeid som gjelder sammenstilling av sikkerhetsdokumentasjon og søknad utføres av Bybanen
RailAdvice, in collaboration with Atkins Norge, is responsible for Bybanen Utbygging's total safety work for all infrastructure, with a special focus on handling interfaces between entrepreneurs and up to rolling stock.
Our skilled senior consultant Fredrik Schumann engaged in the assignment and has worked with safety / RAMS in several roles at Bybanen since 2002 - for long periods as safety manager / safety chief. Fredrik's long career in these RAMS-related roles, ensures continuity in the documentation from solutions in previous construction stages and established processes. In addition to follow-up, alignment, and preparation of safety documentation for approval of construction phase 4, he also performs work in connection with regulation and design of construction phase 5.
Main tasks in the assignment are:
- Overall security management
- Responsibility for approval of RAMS work according to applicable standards
- Follow-up and control of processes and documentation at entrepreneurs and subcontractors, as well as turnkey contracts
- Detailed follow-up of the safety work of the entrepreneurs for the track signal, including necessary coordination and follow-up with the assessor
- Taking care of and coordination of security-related interfaces
- Coordination of safety-relevant matters with the operating companies, including follow-up of regulations and specifications
- Update of Bybanen Utbygging’s safety management system
- Coordination and communication with the Norwegian Railway authorities (Bybanen AS is a formal applicant, but all work concerning the alignment of safety documentation and applications is carried out by Bybanen Utbygging).
